South Umm Gudhair Field Upgrade
Project Information
Joint Operations is a JV between Saudi Arabian Texaco and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). Joint Operations at Umm Gudair. The South Umm Gudair field produces about 105,000 bbl of Oil & 40 MMSCFD of gas. In order to increase the production from these fields, a major upgrade program was planned by Joint Operations to debottleneck and revamp various systems e.g. separators, water treatment, flare, manifold, loss prevention, oil recovery system, plant safety system etc. The upgrade is planned with minimal or no stoppage of production and included a number of temporary facilities to achieve this objective.
